A FROZEN fourth birthday
My little Gracie Lu has turned 4 and I'm not so sure I know how to feel about it. Three was way fun. Grace is my spunky child, full of fun and excitement. She can be opinionated but is easily reasoned with and very agreeable. She is a rule follower for the most part, always asking my permission if she is unsure of something. But 4 has brought a bit of an attitude. She is starting to notice that when she says "NO!" or squeals like a little piglet her older siblings want nothing to do with her and usually leave her alone. She is also becoming more of a mommas girl, wanting to stay with me instead of go to school. Which I don't mind terribly until she gets that baby voice going and starts becoming a wet noodle when we try to get dressed in the morning. But four has also brought a bigger, more mature little girl who likes to hang with the big kids and participate in most things the other two are doing. She is also our little comedian, making us laugh with her silly expressions and witty comebacks. Four is okay I guess, but I am wanting time to stop more often and have been searching for that rewind button... no luck so far.
We love our little Grace Lucille. She really does round out our family and make it full of sunshine and giggles.
Some of Grace's favorites at 4...
-All things Frozen. She loves to sing the songs, watch the movie and play with her dolls
-Dogs. She LOVES dogs. She points them out, every singe one of them that she sees while we are walking or driving. And let me tell you, we live in Seattle, dogs are preferred to children out here. She also asks their owners to pet them, all of them. We have to plan extra time in our day just for puppy petting.
-Beckham. She wants to marry her brother and we are perfectly fine with that. She gets pretty upset when her friends tell her she can't marry her brother and that they CAN. I can't dispute her infatuation for him. He is adorable, he lets her win every time they race upstairs, he plays candy land and the frozen game with her over and over when she has exhausted mom and dad, he doesn't mind when she call him her Prince Charming, he lets her love on him, kissing and hugging him whenever she can, he is always the first to show her something cool or neat he knows she will like, and he is always willing to give her a hand whenever she needs it. Its pretty much my favorite thing right now.
-Her friends. She has many cute little friends at school and church and in our neighborhood. She is happy to play with whoever, whenever, she just loves friends.
-fruit. She would eat fruit and only fruit for every meal.
-Wilson. The girl loves her puppies and Wilson is her most favorite one. He is so good to let her squeeze him and lay on him. It probably helps that she also sneaks him many many treats throughout the day.
We had waffles and cream for her birthday breakfast
Madison made her the cutest book titled "All about Grace" It was adorable and Grace likes to read it with her big sister.
She chose Jimmy Johns for her birthday dinner. Works for me!
We had a few of her cute little friends over with their families for some dessert. She wanted a Frozen cake of course. I tried my best...
Lauren, Grace, and Jane
Happy Birthday sweet girl. We sure love you.

Cute party!! Love all your food and the cake is perfect, too! :)
I have to admit, 3-4 years old is my favorite stage. Still so sweet, innocent and loveable, but a little more independent and less needy. I loved reading about Grace's personality and all the little things that make her special. What a doll she is and that smile of hers just makes me melt! Happy birthday to your baby girl!
Grace is an absolute doll! I loved reading all about her. And if you ever find that rewind button, please let me know! :)
