San Diego
Every year we make it a point to see the Molens at least once. This year, we are working on 3 whole times!
Last year the boys planned a pretty fantastic trip to Vegas filled with shows, fancy dinners, photo shoots, and lots of dancing. We had such a great time and Alisha and I definitely felt the pressure to make this trip amazing. However, we also knew that even if we hung out in the hotel room all weekend long we would still have a blast! The boys didn't know a thing about the trip and that was a little stressful! Especially coming off Vegas. Maybe we will just keep the tradition going of having the boys plan these things. Why mess with a good thing right?
Our weekend started off by taking the boys to a Padres vs. Giants game. Having lived in San Francisco we couldn't help but cheer for the Giants. It was a great game that ended with fireworks and pinkberry.
The next day we decided to head out to the farmers market for some breakfast and then it was off to Coronado Island where we rented these babies...
Hello, fun indeed! We had a blast cruising around the island on our electric bikes.
Mine happened to be pink (thanks Lish) and I thought it went pretty well with my mint green toes ;)

After our bike ride and some lunch we headed to the beach to relax. I'm pretty sure we could have stayed there all weekend long.
That evening we took the boys on a boat ride through the harbor where we listened to some tunes, snacked on some MoleChap favorites, and chatted the night away. The views from the boat were amazing. I wanted to freeze the whole day and do it again and again.
The next day we headed over to SeaWorld which had changed quite a bit since the last time I went. But like I said, we can hang out anywhere with these guys and pretty much have the best day ever.
We all got soaked touching these guys. The trainer made one splash me right in the face with his tail. Gotta love salty, poopy, dolphin water in the face.
After Seaworld we had the most amazing dinner and then of course, more pinkberry ;)
We tried to make the most of our last day together by bumming around LaJolla and taking in some pretty amazing views. We even visited Pinkberry one last time...

But, we have come to realize that the last day is always a hard day when it's with these two.

Awwww, what a perfect couples getaway! I think you ladies did a mighty fine job, so don't hand over the reings quite yet! Ok, so in the picture of the four of you at the game, the guys look like they could be brothers and you girls look like you could be sisters. San Diego is such a beautiful place, so glad you got to soak it all in!
What a fun trip!!
