Christmas in Utah

My kids were looking forward to a white Christmas and boy did they get it.  It snowed pretty much every day we were there.  So much so that every time Dad C. was missing from the scene we would always know he was out shoveling snow...again!
But unlike Washington when it snows, life goes on, and we were able to do some fun things with our cousins and grandma and grandpa!

Lights at Temple Square, always a fun outing

A few movies, including the Hobbit in 3D and Les Mis for a second time ;)

Mani-Pedis with the bride to be

And of course the traditional, very reverent, nativity reenactment on Christmas Eve.

 Such reverence
Mary and Joseph

And then it was time for Pajamas and Cookies for Santa.  I always love Christmas Eve so much.  All the excitement and anticipation.  The kids had the best time getting to experience it all with their cousins.  Especially the big sleepover in the basement!

They were up bright and early and ready to bust through the door!
 before the madness
and here they come...

The kids spent the rest of the day playing with toys and having a blast while the adults went into wedding mode and started prepping for the big day!
