Some random adventures from our first summer in WA
A few weeks ago we took a break from yard work and walked to a summer festival in our neighborhood. We were able to see a parade, the bubble man, and get Beckham his very first taste of a snow cone. As you can see from the picture, he liked it, and even looks a bit possessive of it!

The kids and I went to the Woodland Park Zoo with friends. It was a great day and we had lots of fun with the Cook girls!.JPG)
Ella and Bex getting cozy in the strollers!

Madison and our neighbor Janine enjoy "fence hopping" and spending time together. We are so lucky to have such great neighbors on all sides of us! Gracie and Lance are the dogs that live on the other side of us. They LOVE when the kids are out playing and stick their hands under the fence to pet them. This day the girls decided to help them out a little and moved some rocks so the dogs could get their heads under. Gracie actually squeezed completely out but Lance was too big!
These last two pictures were taken within minutes of each other. The weather was doing some crazy stuff; one minute we were out in the sun enjoying watermelon and the next minute it turned cloudy, cold, and started raining!.JPG)

Glad you are enjoying your first summer in WA!! Aren't summer days great? Now is a good time to think of all your CA friends inside because it's too hot to go out! It's about the only time Seattle weather is better. :)
Jodee - Woodland park is one of my favorite places. We had all the Moon family reunions there since I was a small kid. Loved the zoo. You were actually there as an infant. Love mom
I love the possessive pic!
I don't know how you guys manage to find so many fun places to go, but you've definately convinced me that we need to come up for a visit!
I can't wait to have fun neighbors to play with. Don't get me wrong, we have some wonderful neighbors that we love dearly but they are all the adopted grandma sort of neighbors. It will be fun to have younger families with kids to play with. Anyway, I love the watermelon and rain coat pictures. Madison's rain gear is too cute!
