Mini Nationals
WARNING! The following is a blatant mommy brag session, proceed with caution!
Madison has been taking gymnastics for about 3 years now. She really loves it and has a lot of fun each week. This year she is honing in on her strengths and weaknesses and is finding that she loves the beam, vault and floor but doesn't love the bars. A few weeks ago she had attended an event that tests her skills on many of the apparatuses. The girls didn't compete against each other but they do receive ribbons based on the level they should be preforming at. There were about 150 girls there and they each came home with 5 ribbons. In addition, each judge gave an overall award for their apparatus they were judging. Madison ended up getting 2 of those! We were really proud of her to say the least! She works hard and it shows.

That is impressive! I'm still waiting for my kids to find "their thing". They're tried several different things but nothing has really stuck yet. I love that first picture and the look of concentration on her face. Nice job Maddison!
